Got home late last night, had a lovely break, Tossa is tiny so not a lot going on, no big department stores either so that was great, weather was perfect, hotel superb, staff very good, food mostly good, met some wonderful people {mainly Jocks} lots of French and Dutch, they just drive down, biggest industry in Tossa must be car parks ,they are every where, countdown for Miami has started.

He's getting on my nerves

Community service coming up. My folks were 59 years married yesterday. I've bought a fresh cream sponge to bring with me. Last time I brought something like that, my dad was cutting slivers of it to mix in with his roast beef and gravy dinner He used to be sharp as a pin. Nobody could pull the wool over his eyes and he didn't suffer fools at all. Now...... well, those are the cards that have been dealt I suppose. We'll just have to get on with it until he either kicks the bucket or goes so loopy, the health authority will finally step up to the plate and section them. See y'all later

Dermo, we're coming to see you in a fortnight! What's the Maldron Hotel, Sandy Road, Galway like? How long does it take to drive from Knock to Galway? Will I need a cardy?
We've booked a week in said hotel and flying in to Knock airport. I'm supposed to be picking up a wee car there but that might be on hold as I don't have a credit card and the travel agent isn't sure if they'll take debit card. Unbelievable really, I had 2 credit cards, Capital One and Bank of Scotland and both of them were cancelled because I haven't used them for years. I'm getting penalised because I have money! Travel agent will phone me tomorrow as Budget car rental desk is closed on Sunday it seems. Where the feck is Sandy Road? Do you have postcodes over there? Will my satnav work in a foreign country?
Anyhoo, we're coming over on Monday 26th, flying from Edinburgh at 2:00pm. I'll PM you later on with my mobile number...

Stay a night with us!! That hotel, bring ear plugs!! its built over a filling station on the busiest road in the city! At the back is a small retail park. Used to be called the Pillo hotel. I'll talk later. Busy little bee here at the moment

or at the least, see will they switch you for a night to the Maldron hotel in Oranmore for a night or two. Thats only 10 min from me. If you run into trouble with car hire and credit card, see will they use mine.
