Re: What are you doing today??
Taking Lex to hospital at 11,30, she is having an operation on her eye, her mother poked her in the eye about 4 years ago and she has a mark on it, so it needs removing before she gets older,
I would like to poke her mother in the eye with a red hot poker but thats another story
Lex should be home about 6 pm ish, no doubt starving to death

Re: What are you doing today??
Lex is 10 in January, Just took her home via drive thro McDonalds, she can troff for sure,
Surgeon was tin po lee china man, I saw him at Optegra when i had my eyes tuned up,
I have come across him before at the Clarendon wing, some clown thought i had cancer at the back of my eyes when it turned out to be bear tracks which said clown had never heard of
He gave the student a right telling off for scaring me to death without consulting a senior,
Anyway Lex is hamming it up for the sympathy, hope her eye clears up without any set backs,
I will let her read this at the weekend, Thank you folks

Same here. You don't like to see any of the young ones going under the knife even if it is for their good. Hope she got a huge eye patch so she can milk it from Grandad!

Re: What are you doing today??
Get well soon Lexie. Eyes are very important. Grandkids eh? My oldest ones just got a 3 stretch, silly boy. Must be genetic. Dont ask cos I dont know all the details but from what I do know seems harsh. I will find out more when I see his Mum on Sunday. Looked on line but cant find feck all. Freemasons.
Today I went to Finchley collecting cheap building stuff. Half the road seemed to be full of builders. Ex council house they were refurbing, absolutely stank of dog or cat shit. Owner was foreign, builders were English. Good. House probably worth best part of half a million though, probably rent for 2+k a month. All my stuff was stored in a wooden shed at the end of the garden, Quite big about 30 square metres. I did notice it had electric and drainage, another 1k for that then. Got more stuff from Welwyn Garden City on the way back, dont like to waste fuel, get as much as you can in one trip. Never been there before. Place was buzzing.. If you happened to be following me up the hills on the A1 this evening at 30mph I do apologise.

Re: What are you doing today??
Just like to say a big well done to the Scotland and England teams for wearing their Poppies today and a possible exit from the world cup for doing so. Not a bad thing though as this next world cup should not take place.

Yep, you got to stand up for what you believe in. Strange how the Ireland team didn't get in as much shit when they wore jerseys with 1916 commemoration badge embroidered on them.

Re: What are you doing today??
Yeah, read that. They say they never forbade the teams to wear the poppy...just reminded them of the rules, and it's up to the FIFA rule commitee to decide.

Researching "line of sight" broadband. I am having to type this using data on my phone. My broadband slows down too much in the evening. Last night it hit 0.09 mbps.

Re: What are you doing today??
I've 2 football matches to go to.I've got a weird cough. Whenever I take a deep breath, I can feel as if bubbles are popping in my lungs. Darragh has the same. Neither of us are getting coughing fits, its as if a flu is coming on but not getting any worse??? Darragh has had it for @ 10 days and I've had it since Monday. Weird.
