Went shopping for swede this afternoon. Stuart and Kev want some. Stocked up on medicines on the way home and then sat down at my laptop to print out tickets for my flight to Tenerife in the morning. No bloody black ink in printer, grrr. Need that bit for the barcode so back out to Tescos, £10.44, silly price innit? I will be kipping in the camper van in the airport car park tonight. 6.15 flight, I dont trust myself to get up...........

When I was back in UK about 6 months ago I bumped into a bloke I knew years back, after "what we are both doing and where we are living now" bit was done, he said, " how's yer Dad these days, not seen him in years". Had a bit of a journey today. From Dunfermline on the East coast over to Wemyss Bay on the West coast and then a ferry trip from Wemyss Bay to Rothesay on the Isle of Bute. Took all day...lovely!

Went to the tile centre to get grout for a small job i have to do. There was a customer ahead of me at the counter. she was buying tiles for her floor but couldn't find a tiler who was free this side of xmas and she wanted the job done before then. So, I came to her rescue

Had to drive down to the borders to measure what height a low voltage electric cable was at so we could fly a phone line under it. Got my big thick rubber gloves on and my trusty non-conducting measuring rods and gave the gang the go-ahead. Feckin' company would fold without me...
