Re: The doctors surgery
Just back from hospital appointment. Prostate levels are still at 7.3. I'm confused now, normal consultant was in theatre so I got a new Dr. who I haven't had before. Trousers down, digit inserted again, seems fine he says, but worried that prostate levels are stubbornly high and not reacting to antibiotics. I haven't been on antibiotics since Dermo visited me back in February...anyhow, next appointment is for biopsies he says. I'm going round in feckin' circles. He's got me really confused with the "not reacting to antibiotics" bit. Does he think I've been on antibiotics since February? Young student female Dr. was in the consulting room as doc's giving me digital examination too, so I was a bit flustered and it didn't register with me about the antibiotics until I got home, and it was Mermaid who said I wasn't on antibiotics. I dunno, all tablets look the same to me...

Re: The doctors surgery
Got my appointment at last for the CT scan! A week on Friday...I had to phone them up again, they said there's an 8 week waiting list, I said 8 weeks for an urgent CT scan? You're not down as urgent they said. I got on the blower to my cancer nurse contact and she got it sorted out in 10 minutes! NHS is a shambles...

Nah, I don't want to upset them. They might leave a watch or something inside me for a laugh...

On the soap box already,,, three times for CT scans for the same problem, lost them twice they did, I turn up for appointment to see consultant after first one, he don't have it, booked in again for scan, I go, I then get a letter asking why I didn't turn up,,, I have to go again, third time lucky...
Friend, scan for possible brain tumour, I go with her to see consultant, no trace of scan,,, back to end of queue, five week wait for it to be done again,,,WTF.
Annie's dad a week ago, had tests one day, Annie asks next day when she visits what were results, no trace, her dad had to have tests again and he was an in patient...
Cam, take a picture of the paperwork they give you on your phone, and tell them if they fu#k up you will sue,,, at least then Trish will be ok...
