I'm just back! We went to Reekie Linn waterfall on the River Isla, then had lunch at Peel Farm a little further on. Then up the A93 to Glenshee and Braemar and onto Aberdeen, then back down the A90 and home.

My HQ is Stirling and it's a Stirling holiday today! Mermaid is going to phone Doc's for an appointment as I have to go in to see about my PSA levels. They were at 17.6 last blood test.

Whats PSA, Perfectspecimens alcohol levels?
Got to get the van up on ramps when I can drum up enthusiasm. Oil lights been flashing at me meaning low oil pressure and last week the other red light, generator, started dimly glowing just to add to the disco effect. Some new brushes arrived on Saturday for the alternator, thats the easy bit. Got to drop sump to see the oil pump, I'm hoping the pickup tube is either patially blocked, has a dodgy seal or the pressure relief valve spring is broken.
Such fun. Vw Polo failed MOT last week, exhaust back box and one number plate light. Box came off easy and ebay sending me one for £20.40p.

There is supposed to be 2 switches but I can only find one and that just has one wire coming from it. Yep, pull it off is exactly what I was going to do. Most cars only got one oil light! Could find nowt wrong inside either. I have ordered an oil guage from ebay that I was going to put on the other one so I will rig that up on it temporary so then at least I will know. Alternators working now anyway, but one or two glow plugs aint! More fun.

Going in to see my dad. He's got pneumonia and wont allow them to hook up an IV and doesn't want tablets. Consultant rang to ask what we want to do so there is now a DNR order on him.

Now she's thinking other two on a package deal with airport transfers included will already be hotel,,, No...
They're flight was delayed, then,,,,,, 3 hours on transfer bus...
Flight took less time...

That was the cheapest , it's all to do with Vals hip replacement, they ask if you have appointments with specialists and she always has as they are keeping an eye on her other hip , yes 70 is the time for take off, we have had quotes over £1000 but we got a discount from our current insurer which brought it down to just over £500 which isn't too bad for both of us

For first time ever earlier this year I went abroad without insurance, it was Tenerife so European Health Card still gave a bit of cover,,, same reason, insurance company already knew I was waiting on knee operation and had already hiked cost because of that, then when I had to inform them my operation had been cancelled due to pre op issues when this years renewal came in they'd hiked cost even further...

Packing, home tonight, so clean up and then lunch in the beach club, we usually end up talking about things and what plans at home are, could do with changing Wills and shit like that, people we thought was sensible are not and vice versa, dont matter when your dead but it's your thoughts about them that are left, if they end up hating you tough,
