Hospital for prostate biopsies then off for our 2 day B&B break. You'll have to get by yourselves for a couple of days.

Re: What are you doing today??
So how long is that license for Reg? Thinking of doing it for my house. I can get 5 flatlets, keep one for me on ground floor, saves buying a bungalow innit, and let the others to poor souls who cant afford a proper home. Probs keep it from the council as long as possible though. Mind you I already have a smoke alarm at the top of the stairs, that appears to be the major requirement. I will put a fecking hose there too as you cant trust these monkeys. In case of fire PUT THE FECKER OUT!
Been working on the campervan. Nasty ticking noise coming from cam area, sounds really bad. Read it could be vacuum pump which works off said cam. Apparently you take it off and theres a rod inside, just turn it round and jobs a goodun. So take pump off and remove rod, sure enough its worn on one end a bit so put it back other way round and start her up with fingers crossed..... Success!

Re: What are you doing today??
40 minutes I was in that feckin' MRI machine. You get to pick what music you want on the earphones 'cos the machine makes so much noise. I heard about 20 70s hits I've not heard for years. Silvia's mother, Let's just kiss and say goodbye..etc. Great stuff!

I dunno...but you're right, I was asked all sort of questions like "Have you ever used grinding/welding equipment? Do you have metal implants/pins" etc...

Re: What are you doing today??
Sure I posted about it before, I had to have a MRI scan, got all same questions as you but answered yes to one question, I had once got a splinter of metal embedded in my eye while chiseling, guy asking questions quizze me on this, I explain I went to local optician cos I could see bit of metal in my eye thinking he would remove it, but no he inspects eye, writes a letter and sends me to Edinburgh eye hospital, on way to hospital I feel bit of metal come out of eye but still go hospital cos eye is sore, they have good look at eye and give me ointment, this is relayed to guy questioning me, he disappears with form, bit later he comes back saying they cannot carry out MRI scan as there is nothing in my medical records about my visit to eye hospital and that they are going to have to track records down,,, I say this was some 30 years ago in Scotland and hospital involved was knocked down some years back, he insists no records no scan,,, I say what happens if you can't find records, he says then you'll have to have a x-Ray to determine bit of metal still ain't in eye or behind it,,, I say we are in x-Ray department why not just do x-Ray now,,, he goes and gets his supervisor, she says they can't do x-Ray as they would have to get a doctor to look at it,,, l say to her rather sarcastically "THIS IS A HOSPITAL",,, x-Ray and MRI scan were carried out...
