What are you doing today??

We had John, Shiela's widower, with us for last 2 nights. Bit subdued yesterday but a lot livelier today. don't know where he gets the strength from . He installed TRV's and a new shower for us. I asked him what did I owe him and we had a big barney cos he told me to feck off with my money etc etc.  . what til he opens his toiletry bag when he gets home. I managed to sneak 100 euro into it.

Janet's friend took some new jeans up for me and wouldn't take any money, I bought her a £10 lottery ticket and she won feck all  

Last day off work today so I'm just going to chill out all day.

Meeting 2 punters for lunch at the beach cafe 

Could be doing something similar this time next week

January Cam, meet up with the Bitacora buddies, never mentioned but on our last cruise a lady came uo to us in a bar and asked if we were in the Bitacora last year, we remembered her and her hubby and have arranged a meet up on our second day, as they come home the day after, should be fun

How could I forget 

First pub quiz of the year tonight got off to a great start, we do quiz in a city centre pub, pub is split in to three parts, main bar area, back room and front room, we do quiz in back room, from where I'm sitting I can see in to main bar area, landlady takes part in quiz with a few of her friends (they won tonight beat us by two points), bunch of guys in their sixties who frequent the pub are having a bit of a loud argument about something in the main bar area, landlady has told them to cool it a bit as we can't here questions for them arguing,,, two couples come in, about thirty years old I would say, never seen them in pub before, they are well pissed, one of females gets involved in argument the older guys are having, next think it kicks off big, bottles flying everywhere, the whole lot of them get chucked out but it continues in street, three cop cars arrive but by that time they've all dispelled...

On landladies return to quiz I ask her if she's got entertainment planned for the rest of the year...

Look on her face I think I could be next to get barred,,, no sense of humour some people...

Oh and from where I was sitting I saw it all, it was pissed female who kicked it off, I saw it coming, before it kicking off I felt like getting up and telling her to piss off, but not my place to do so...

Checked the lottery for Wednesday's Euro Millions...I won £2.50.

Got Vals computer charging camera ,Ipad and mp3 player so should be sorted for next tues

Lunch time Mason is sat on the breakfast bar, I had turned away to inject myself, lexie was doing what girls do - nothing, Luke is reading my paper and Janet is making something,so 4 of us missed him falling off and landing on his head after hitting the pedal bin on the way down,
panic panic panic, Janet grabbed her bag Luke was looking for the car keys, and Lexie was screaming
Hold it i said phone 999 and sound serious, A & E is no place to go on a weekend, so by the time 999 answered Mason was making his usual noises and the women on the phone could here him and deemed it unimportant obviously, 90 minutes later no ambulance, they are pacing uup and down so i said phone again, 5 minutes later ambulance with lights flashing rolls up, the y then wasted 2 pairs of gloves and said he should be checked out at the hospital, 4 hours later doc looks at him and declared him fit, What a fecking shambles

Lady rang me yesterday." Did you forget about me?" she said. Even when she told me her name, nothing clicked. I was supposed to have painted her kitchen last thurs. Instead i went cavorting across half of England. Had to go in today to paint the thing as she has her house up for sale. Then I ran into trouble cos it's so cold the paint wouldn't dry. Finally got the thing done and she was moving stuff back into the kitchen. "I was wondering" she said " if this dehumidifier would help to get rid of condensation off the windows?" Yes" I said, "and it would also have helped drying to feckin paint"
