My main excitement at present is sitting and watching the street lights to see when lighting up happens ,today it was 1729 pm and seems to get 1 min later each day , just hope I can contain my excitement for a while longer

Takes more than a day to work with or without a card so keep battened down for a while yet. I had the Pfizer one anyway. Just read that SNP have 4% of UK vote. Greens have 3%. Says much.

Don't care about the UK vote, they are Scottish-based. Thay won the last election with 46.5% of the vote. Boris's win in 2019 was only 43%. Figures eh? Next Holyrood elections are in May. It will be interesting to see the results when they come in.

E/mail from jet 2 from May2022 they are flying from EDI to Santorini, Parga ,Lefkos and a few more places in Greece, happy days we haven't been to Santorini since flights from Newcastle stopped a few years back , be great to see old friends again

Apparently the eruption ended the Minoan civilization on Crete as it caused such a huge tsunami it wiped every one out but there were no deaths on Santorini, it was the year before that we were there

You lost the independence vote, You got a majority of seats in last UK election in Scotland but not the majority of votes,,, so shut it...

Scotland will not survive on its own. Maybe you could rent Faslane to the Russians for a few billion to make up the deficit. Europes in a mess. Italy, Spain and Holland all thinking of jumping ship like we did. You best off staying under Englands wing and concentrate on a happy stress free retirement.

We too have had the accountant making a meal out of nothing today. Last year we spent circa £30k on maintaining and upgrades. Gave him all the receipts and all the work itemized (dont forget Janet worked in accounts for 30 plus year) no there is a difference between maintenance and upgrades making property worth more than it would have meaning when and if you sell it then it becomes under capital gains tax. FMR I wanted to punch the kent. Talk about making things difficult he must have too much time on his hands so after boiling my head he was told that's all your gettingfecking send it in. I told Janet next year we (or her more like ) will do it ourselves

Welding today. Getting quite good at it. Putting new leather seats in Suzuki Jimny I got for 99p on ebay. (The seats not the car lol). Two captive bolts were seized on the old decrepit and smelly ones ripping holes in two of the mounting plates. Ripped out and disposed of carpets as well. Rubber mat will do fine. Its a proper 4x4 now. Surprised and pleased to note floor panels were as good as new!

Woke up this morning to the news that the ISIS pin cushion wont be allowed back into the UK to appeal her case. Good.
One legged man has made it here across the Channel on rubber dinghy with 72 others yesterday. Welcomed by border staff who put him in wheelchair. Isnt that lovely? I would have pushed the useless twat over the side of the dock.
