Re: What are you doing today??
Spent hours today with my bro cancelling my sisters store cards and direct debits, and transferring gas and electric, council tax etc. into my bro's name. Call centres, hold music and keypad options all over the place, nightmare. We're getting there though. Just waiting on the letters coming in and replying to them as and when they do. Has to be done.

Re: What are you doing today??
Got Macie for a sleepover tonight, so we went for a run in the car then had lunch at McDonald's drive-through. Then went to a duck pond that has geese, coots, mallards, swans and Moorhens, great fun. Where next? I says, Pittencrieff Park she says, off we go. Mobbed had a lovely walk round and saw the peacocks and got an ice cream. Now where? The beach, she says. Off we go to Limekilns for a potter round the beach. Home again and she's standing on a stool at the sink cleaning all the shells she picked up. Beautiful day up here today.

Thought I would cut the grass but fecking lawnmower wont start. To save taking the carb apart, right fiddley job, I drove to Toolstation wasting fuel of course to buy some Easy Start. Will try it tomorrow or let Patsy do it with the £10 electric lawnmower.

Re: What are you doing today??
A couple of years back a friend hadn't started her lawnmower over the winter, she'd also left it out side and engine had seized up due to dampness causing corrosion in it, I took out spark plug and sprayed WD40 in to cylinder, left it about a week, using the cutting blade which attached directly to the crankshaft as a handle I managed to work the engine free,,, but I couldn't get the engine to start, so I take sparkplug ou pour a bit petrol in to
cylinder, plus some on to air filter,,, got it going...
