If you are Win7, click on "Start" button, then click on "Control Panel", then "System and security". Scroll down to "Windows Update". Click on "Change settings" and in the drop down menu, click on "Install updates automatically(recommended)", then click OK. This will stop you from getting dozens of downloads all at once as it continuously runs in the background. You'll know when it's working 'cos when you go to turn your pc off, it'll say something like "Do not turn of your computer or unplug from power-Update configuring", or something like that. Just let it run it's course and go to bed, 'cos if you've hit the "Shutdown" button, it will close itself after the updates have been installed/configured.

Its Vista Cam. I have already got it set up to install updates automatically. The trouble is, it doesn't configure them and stacks each new update on top of the previous ones. Something to do with the "pending.xml" file. (see!!, I can bullshit with the best of them!! )
