Today I went to deepest darkest Norfolk to get some stuff I nicked on ebay. Took the dog for a run on the beach, loved it he did. He is having a little kip now and I am off to the pub. Now.

Haha! You pair of nutters! I got them shoes in a deal in the Guardian. Supposed to be £100 smackers and got them for £35. Black brogues with country sole for walking. Came with individual velvet bags for each shoe, shoe trees, and a shoe horn and a 2 pair of spare laces. Bargain! Handmade by Samuel Windsor. (Check out the site Here.)

I don't trust them air shows BS. Feckin' planes have a habit of flying into spectators and killing them. Keep your head down!

Ah great your telling someone 6ft 6+ to keep his head down at an air show, chnage of plan could be on the cards
Had wante dto go on the tour of tha Victoria tunnels that are under Newcastle supposed to be stunning & rare example of an extensive tunnels system in the country but was advised I'm far too tall and would end up on my hands & kness most of the way, shocking I'm being victimised here.
Its not that when peole want me topass stuff down off the top shelves of supermarkets though.

Re: What are you doing today??
I'd get down them tunnels on tiptoe! Just finished cleaning all the UPVC surrounds on the windows now that the harling has finished. Worst about living upstairs is you have to use the ladder for ALL the windows. Best bit though, is we never get flooded out!

Re: What are you doing today??
Just got back from our favourite pub/eating place. Barman knows Mermaid always want chicken fillet with leek and butter sauce, sees us coming and says "no chicken fillet left". Chef is sitting at the bar having a coffee and knows we're regulars..."I'll make you chicken fillet with tarragon sauce". Happy Mermaid. I had sirloin steak garni, medium rare, onion rings and mushrooms, chips and side salad. (Where's Cru? She usually gives me a row about my eating habits.)
