I was lying in bed nearly dropping off last night when I suddenly sat bolt upright! I realised the overhang on the stairs into our flat would stop the new furniture getting in! That was it, I couldn't sleep so I got up at midnight with my tape measure in one hand and brochure with measurements in t'other. Upshot was I reckoned we'd have to dismantle the 3 door wardrobe and the beds wouldn't get in without the headboards coming off. Mermaid phoned them up today and they said they'd come to our gaff for a look at 5:30-6ish. They arrived at 8 O'Clock bassas...
They reckon they'll get everything in OK. I'm convinced they won't! They didn't even take measurements, they just looked.
Also had joiner in to look at fitting 2 internal doors, one from living room to kitchen with glazed panels on top half and a matching door without glass from living room to hall. He's going to drop off an estimate tomorrow

Tell them to let the air out of the wheels on the hand trolley Cam.

Project management failed , the day the new windows were fitted the furniture should have been shoved through, yes i know your up a floor but funiture these days dont weigh much,

This furniture is heavy and solid. Not flat pack.

My brother inlaw who is thick as two planks just had the door to his living room moved to the other end so he could get a new sofa in , i mentioned that if it dont fit through the door it still wont fit when he moves said door, he gave me a i dont understand look so i left it at that, Oh then he had new windows fitted , Half irish half Italian,

At Dentist need a filling. Have to wait till 10th June as she is busy and I need a 40min appt so they can let me get a break from holding my mouth open due to the pain I have with this jaw movement disorder.

Jan needed 40min appointment in December best they could offer was early April, pathetic. They then phoned 2 days before and cancelled, offering another for June, told them she had raging tooth ache from it, done next day

Recovering, as said headed in to town last night to see an old Scots git on the top of a big red bus, got down to Deansgate about 6.30, bus was due about 7.30 so we went for some refreshments, bar we were in had TV on so we could keep tabs on buses progress, when the bus reached the start of Deansgate we decided to decamp and meet up with mate and his girlfriend who had text to say they were on Deansgate at the junction with Quay Street. Off we set, didn't get far, Deansgate was a logjam of people, so it was off down some back streets with a view of coming up Quay Street on to Deansgate,,, us and several hundred people obviously had the same idea... Got to Quay Street,, we're approx 30 yards from its junction with Deansgate and this was with us pushing our way through the crowd, there was no way we were getting any closer, so we stood there in antisapation of the bus passing the gap between the buildings, the crowd in front of us who could see down Deansgate started to cheer as the bus approched our standpoint, just as the bus came in to our view some twat in front of us set off a red smoke flare, by the time the smoke cleared the bus had gone by, saw feck all, arghhh..........

Never mind, eh?
