Winter in Tenerife if you can spare the time and money is the way to go, Probably better for your health and maybe your wallet too

About the only thing that stops me selling my gaff in Tenerife Reg. Encroaching retirement and an aversion to cold feet.

Right up and at it, loads to do if I wanna live abroad.
Bill, I said we would be swallows as of last winter, but strange how things change.
We have got a couple of plans and I am going to sell some wares.

Re: What are you doing today??
I ended up taking 2 Migralieves just after lunch What a mental day, I bought a dead mans car this morning
I get quite a few of those, trouble is you usualy are stood between all the family fighting over it or the money,
So i give them a bit of cooling off period, This morning i pulled up behind the hearse, no i'm kidding, they sent him off last friday and i only had to deal with the son, , I thought i would cheer him up so i started trying on his dads shoes just for a laugh (Well i thought it was funny) David said help yourself Reg , Joke David -Oh ahh yes i see, You wouldnt see me in a pair of brown Brouges anyway , I left with the car only, A nice little low mileage Fiesta, Good news them baby's, David said i will just check whats in it before you go, I said i will tell you before you look, Inside at least 1 cushion, a yellow duster, 1 pair of gloves, deicer, widow scraper, pen and note book for when they crash, in the boot - secateurs, small cardboard box, gardening gloves, some string, halfords jump leads that are fit for feck all, tow rope still in the plasic sheath, a piece of carpet, and an old blanket, sometimes a pair of wellingtons, dust pan and brush , David said i got 8 out of 10 right, 40 years of rooting through dead mans cars, Oo nearly forgot the umbrella, We had a laugh which i think he needed,

Re: What are you doing today??
The Diesel particle Filter thingy has just shown up as a warning requiring "Urgent" attention on Eileen's car. Rang up the local Peugeot dealer. 980 feckin euro to change it!!! Am a member of a Peugeot forum ( mainly for UK users ). One of the guys there gave me contact details of a bloke that actually lives only 10 miles away. Rang him and he'll do the job for 130 euro all in ( possibly more if it needs topping up) but no higher than 250. The guy is a Peugeot trained mechanic. He's getting the job and if all else fails, I'll bring the car up the north next week where they'll do the same job( in a Peugeot dealership) for 390 pounds. This country is a feckin rip off.

Re: What are you doing today??
Take the car out every 2 weeks and kick its arse, i mean really boot it, keeps things clean, short trips with women are the worst thing to do,, Also stop buying crap motors, Honda or Toyota, but they can be hard to find second hand, and unless you have tons of money dont buy brand new, Also Hyundia and Kia seem to be a good car too, But same as everything else -things aint what they used to be,

Its the global economy, not growing because they don't want to sit in supermarkets with no one buying them.
