Nah a couple of beers but some great nosh. Appraisers are only allowed to give constructive criticism at the worse, anything more means you get a rise. Anything less you can have them for bullying

Seeing as I am on my own for a few days I thought I would give the back garden a once over with the Karcher , what a bloody mess!!! o.k it gets all the crap off but it has to go somewhere doesn,t it? it only took a couple of hours to blast the crap off the patio, walls and planters , but then you have to sweep up all the rubbish that has come loose ,get rid of all the water and then clean the patio windows and doors plus the garden furniture ,have to admit that I was in some state at the end with splashes all over me , but that,s it done now just a bit of re-pointing and it should do for a few more years, wonder if Val will be awarding brownie points when she gets home

Wellie's and water proof trousers are needed for that job, all the sand comes out of block paving so you have to re sand it, then that gets all over too, ,

I remember laying our path with mono-block. You had to get special dry sand to go down the gaps. Dumped it on the blocks then swept it over all them and it fell down the holes evenly.

Re: What are you doing today??
Leeds is a big city, but there are only a few classic cars about, about 4 years ago a family that has a lot of property the parents got divorced, they had a villa in St Tropez and it had to be sold, i got roped in to recover 2 cars, a V12 Etype convertable and a Lambo countach by the woman, got it all organised and the husband said go blox i will do it myself, today i was summoned to a garage near me to look at a car that had been stood for a while, opened the garage and there was the Etype, the husband had asked his son in law to get rid of it, and he got hold of me, I asked how much it had to be and the son said £30k ish, now the husband has been known to change his mind and it all go's quiet again, i said i will get it started and cleaned up but i want paying no matter what, the son said i cant say he will, so i shut the door and said "I'm out" crackers the lot of them,

Re: What are you doing today??
Sometime ago I got a singer sewing machine off ebay, paid nowt for it just had to collect local. Its in a nice sixties style desk thing. Anyway you turn it on and the thing goes up and down so I thought ok I'll take it. New to sewing me anyway so I thought I would practice before making new uphostery covers for boat. Well just spent all afternoon trying to get it to work. Bobbin things not working right and I found half a plastic gear cog in it. Hmmm, back to the drawing board.

Hopefully they will nail it at Amex stadium Cam. Morning all, well didn't get to Alcampo yesterday so probably today as not heard from Gypsy. Hope all is ok as Jim was not well.
Should be set for internet later so won't just be using my free roaming allowance or hotspots from phone.
Have a nice day all.
I met a guy named Rick last night who Gypsy knows as Maplay, really nice geezer.

Re: What are you doing today??
probably won't notice but if you have moved an ornament or picture she will know, women just do. Had to repoint a nursing home once, between jobs, never claimed any benefits and wasn't going to start. Dads mate was turning an ex nursing home into flats. All the walls needed pointing, four stories, bloody sore hands, paid well though and right opposite a dance studio, so totty galore, the woman who owned the place(her mum died and left it to her)liked a beer, so always had a bottle.searcher wrote:Seeing as I am on my own for a few days I thought I would give the back garden a once over with the Karcher , what a bloody mess!!! o.k it gets all the crap off but it has to go somewhere doesn,t it? it only took a couple of hours to blast the crap off the patio, walls and planters , but then you have to sweep up all the rubbish that has come loose ,get rid of all the water and then clean the patio windows and doors plus the garden furniture ,have to admit that I was in some state at the end with splashes all over me , but that,s it done now just a bit of re-pointing and it should do for a few more years, wonder if Val will be awarding brownie points when she gets home
She had a C type in the garage, immaculate, two door, told me dad and Ray they could have it, never did know what they got for it, but they gave me a monkey.

Re: What are you doing today??
Its usualy family squabbles that hold up selling off the family jewels, you see lovely old houses going to ruin because two sisters or brothers dont trust each other, the Etype will stay put untill one of them die, i know the wife got at least £5 million out of him, but if he sells the car she will want half, so he wont want to give her anymore,

Can't you just spray the hull with Fairy Liquid then let the waves skoosh all the gunge off as you're tootling along?

Going to see if we can find a few bits of living room furniture today. Saw some lovely pieces yesterday but I didn't have the wall sizes with me. Got it all written down now though...

Thank goodness for that, I thought Vince had turned gay when he said he likes the odd cock.
Morning all, saw Jim last night with the girls. Nice geezer Jim, he even stayed awake at Bolero. Free concert, very good musician, singers but very sleepy.
Have a nice day, Island very quiet.

Re: What are you doing today??
Yeh good plan, BUT dont forget my lovely wife loves her job, and she only gets 6 weeks holiday, she uses 3 at xmas, 2 in April so that leaves very little else, i will be coming on my own when the kitchen in the renter is finished end of may early June, that should wind her arse right up ,Topdog wrote:Book someflights Reg
