Re: What are you doing today??
Morning all, met the waifs in Lazy Daze for grub last night. Good night. Reg went about 11.00, Vince about 10pm. We left at 1 am. Good night though. Have a nice day, got to go and find where I left the car.

Re: What are you doing today??
Today I have been mainly cutting the grass, even the old strimmers been out. It is a weed free zone, well apart from two unemployed lazy pratts who dont like to move from the tv screen. Me and the dog had a nice walk. I missed him.
Tomorrow we are going cruising on the River Medway in Roys new boat as it has now been craned into the water. Think it might rain. Never mind, I will keep lookout for a waterside pub.
I hope you Brits enjoyed summer, I suspect I may have missed it....

Re: What are you doing today??
Well it didnt rain down in Kent today but the weather was a bit shite.
Roys new boat 'Blue Fin' on the pontoon this morning at East Farleigh on the River Medway.
For those that are interested its a Colvic Watson 23. Beam is about 8'6" and draft about 4'. All fibre glass construction and the crane driver told him it weighs in at 4.5 tons. These are designed to have sails on but this one never has so probably spent its life on the river chasing coots and swans. It has a BMC 1500 diesel engine which produces a staggering 35hp.
More in a bit its time for a cuppa.

Roy at the helm on a trip up stream. She plods along at 5 knots at 2000 rpm which is what I would have expected.
