What are you doing today??

I painted my chimneys. Kicked a football over the house with a piece of string tied on. Tied a rope to end of string and pulled that across. Climbed onto roof with bucket of paint plus brush while holding onto rope. Finished both chimneys. Broke two slates on way back to ladder. threw aforementioned bucket of paint off roof thinking it was empty. Spotted new paint on top of my van while climbing down ladder. Cleaned roof of van. Climbed onto roof again to fix broken slates. Came back down. Decided to move van. Drove over aforementioned bucket of paint. Got paint on tyre and but didn't notice until I parked the van that I had driven with painted tyre all over new concrete. Got power washer out to clean concrete. Put everything away. Neighbours cat sneaked up on me and frightened shite outta me. Tried to kick cat but pulled hamstring. Never painting chimneys again

Haha! I'm still on holiday! (Cats are sneaky buggers Dermo!)

I'm off to the Turkish barbers for a haircut. I like them...they set fire to your ears to get the hair out!

don't know what I am doing as LR must have gone to Turkey for his haircut. He is not back yet

Haha! I decided to get a shave as well. Them Turkish guys are great at that! I had to lie back for 20mins with this steam machine aimed at my physog blowing at me to soften the old bristles before he even looked at me. (Serious! He cut another guys hair while I was lying there!). But then I got the whole works...cut-throat razor, softening gels, hot towels, poofy smelly stufff and a head massage! It was great! Think I'll go back next week...Mermaid wondered who the handsome stranger was walking in the door. (I have that effect on women after Reg sent me some tips...).
Anyhoo, since then we went for a run and had a meal at "The Lion & Unicorn" in Thornhill in Stirlingshire. (Fence-sitting bassas back in the day :adult6: crawling to the Scots and the English with a name like that...). Got back and fitted a new outdoor lamp above the door so the Queen can see the steps if she ever decides to visit in the dark. (Cost me £1.98 for a feckin' lightbulb! )
