Jan is about to watch a program on Channel 4, called "the man with the ten ton testacles", I am going to walk dog as it sounds a load of bollocks.

Re: What are you doing today??
Wishing I could have got my phone/camera out of my pocket quicker, one of my neighbours just got out of his car, walked diagonally in front of it towards his house , only for his car to roll past him very slow, he then runs in front of it places his hands on the bonnet and tries to stop it, car pushed him a good ten feet backwards before he managed to stop it, he then gets in, reverses car back in to space and spends a fair bit of time putting the hand brake on and off, me thinks human error rather than mechanical failure to blame...

Right, that's all the furniture out of the living room and the old carpet and underlay lifted. Must have used a box of screws screwing down the squeaky floorboards. Carpet-fitters just off the phone, they're coming at 8.00 o'clock tomorrow morning. I'm feckin' knackered!

Big cup of hot chocolate Mermaid( not tea or coffee). Life is too short to be getting upset by an ill fitting carpet

Thought you would like it. For everyday stuff I think it is better than Iceland, but if you want Brit products then it has to be Iceland.
I will PM you with the car.

Re: What are you doing today??
Apples are bloody expensive in England now, no orchards left innit.
Patsy rang me this morning, someones stuffed her car up the arse yet again. She should have a big sign on the back, ' Warning, sudden unexpected braking may well occur'. The best one was once she picked a load of us piss heads up from Wisbech, stopped at a green traffic light on a dual carriageway.

Re: What are you doing today??
New carpet laid, so I had to move all the furniture back in after work. Managed to fix the bi-fold cupboard door so it opens over the thicker carpet but main livingroom door will have to be planed at the bottom to let it open and close easier or it will wear away the carpet...
