what's the proposed route to Leith? It has to be Leith Walk or Easter Road. There will be feckin bedlam while digging either of those routes up.

Route will go down Leith Walk then in to docks and along to Ocean View shopping centre where the Royal Yacht Britannia is berthed then out of docks and along to Newhaven...
Leith Walk was well dug up when project was originally started so a lot of the groundwork was initially carried out back then before that section of the original planned route was cancelled due the whole project getting out of control on costs.
Sure I read somewhere they recon the new extension construction will cause18 months disruption on Leith Walk,,, I'll believe that when I see it...
A recent survey (which I posted above) shows the vast majority of people see no need for the extension, but the council seem determined to push ahead with it...

The cost has been paid!!!! yes paid by the council tax payers here and I haven't heard one of them moaning, they will get repaid soon enough by a huge cut in pollution, what price cleaner air???
