Re: Where are you today?
In the Alps again as usual but managed to make it to the Lloyds Bank in March this morning. Nice it is, some comfy armchairs for the old folks to rest on, both occupied, and an automatic door so the poor old dears dont get confused or strain their muscles. Anyway I had to pay some money in so I can send a cheque for the yacht club moorings otherwise it goes up by £50 if I dont pay this month. I took the opportunity to pay £40 off a credit card, feeling flush obviously. Cheeky cow says would I like to apply for a Lloyds credit card cos its cheaper than a Capital One card she says, got one I replied. Would you like to transfer the balance then, it will save you money you know? I politely declined. What she doesnt know is I need some central heating oil this month so I shall transfer the lot then. Toss up between them and the Bank of America card. Teaching me to suck eggs. Theres a pawn shop next door, and one of those Payday loan shops across the road, but thats just for for the folks who are REALLY on struggle street.
Met an in-law unexpectedly in ASDA last week, he was stacking veggies in the trays as I got some peppers. Heyup what you doing working here I says, (ever since I have known him he has been a coach driver) I smashed the bus up on the A1 he tells me, he has developed sleep achnia or summat, cant even drive a car now so his wife has to take him to work. Sad. I managed to avoid asking how many got hurt in the accident......

There is a shop round the corner that sells all things Scottish. I got a couple of hoodies for work at 7.99 each.

Re: Where are you today?
Today I have been in Outwell, Norfolk to put son in laws fan belt on for him. He has bought a new Transit minibus for his business, R-reg When he collected it he needed RAC to complete the journey so thats a good start innit. Fan belt was too long so he took it back and apparently he has the turbo version which is shorter....... More bad news then, he never changes the oil so that turbo wont last long eh?
Ok, wrong thread. So what?
