Monday was murder Dermo. We were eating in the hotel and the wind was blowing the smoke back down the chimney and kept setting the fire alarm off!

Re: Where are you today?
Is she wearing high heels or are those doors only 5' high? Looks smarter than Skegness Yacht Club though, we use white paint for boats...... Oh, forgot, we have purchased a new hovercraft, 6k. Its so we dont disturb the birds out on the mud flats. Walking speed out there is about 500m per hour if you are very nimble so hardly gonna upset birds eh? Hovercraft goes more than 100 times quicker and makes a right racket. Nature reserve bods decided that was preferable......The Lone Ranger wrote:Mermaid outside Glencoe Ladies Mountaineering club...

Corrugated steel, covered well innit, 3metre sheets at one end and 4metre sheets the other. Old style corrugated sheets on my garage, rust coloured not black, bloody hot in the sun. Flap about a bit in the wind.......

Re: Where are you today?
See the oblong blocks of wood above the guttering and the huge boulders below them? There are fence wires goes from one side of the roof to the other and held in place with the boulders. The wooden blocks stop the wire cutting into the roof. Whole system stops the roof being blown away...

Re: Where are you today?
Yeah and the rafters would go in these winds along with the roof! There's a reason they're there. They know how to keep their roof down...(That last sentence was added just to show I could spell all the different "theres"! ).

Jeans and Genes Reg, its important you dont get them mixed up you know. Anyway, today on the radio they were talking about twitters who have had their lives ruined because they dared to say what they thought on line........ Best they come on here then. Also tape cassettes, oooh, I have one in my car.
No idea if it actually works, I'm happy with Radio 2.
