Re: What are you doing today??
Ceratonia siliqua, commonly known as the carob tree and St John's-bread,[1] is a species of flowering evergreenshrub or tree in the pea family, Fabaceae. It is widely cultivated for its edible legumes, and as an ornamental tree in gardens. The seed pod may be crushed and used as a substitute for chocolate.
It is native to the Mediterranean region including Southern Europe, Northern Africa, the larger Mediterranean islands; to the Levant and Middle-East of Western Asia into Iran; and to the Canary Islands and Macaronesia.[2][3]
The vernacular names in other cultures and languages for Ceratonia siliqua include: Arabic: خروب kharrūb; German:Johannisbrotbaum; Greek: χαρουπιά kharoupia or ξυλοκερατιά ksylokeratia; Spanish: algarrobo, caroba; French:caroubier, caroube; Hebrew: חרוב ḥaruv; Portuguese: alfarrobeira; Catalan: garrofa; Sicilian: carrubba; Turkish: harnup, keçiboynuzu; Croatian: rogač; Albanian: xhixhibanoz.[2] The word Carat, a unit of purity for gold alloys, was derived from the word carob. Thanks Wikipedia
None of you would have got it right in a QUIZ without me educating you, now find me some in Tenerife.

Well thats a fecking joke for a start. So the police can shut the whole citys pubs on a whim?
All tanked up from take away sellers then, and a good reason for a riot.

Re: What are you doing today??
Morning all, paperwork day today for Jack. Police can close pubs but you can't hire a whole pub. When I say hire, I mean have the pub solely for your guests, it is a public house.

Re: What are you doing today??
Police also stop the shops selling alcohol about four hours pre the game, there's a big Asda opposite City's ground, no alcohol sold, there's a Aldi two miles from the stadium, on route from the city centre to the stadium, it and all corner shops no alcohol sales...Perfectspecimen wrote:Well thats a fecking joke for a start. As for all the pubs being closed, not the case, one of my mates had been in town in the area between the city centre and the ground, most pubs were open, all be it with security on the doors...
