Finished that guys apartment today. Was in there at 7.30 this morning. His new tenants were moving in when they had finished work. Am bloody shattered. 26 hours work over last 48 hours. :sleep2: 

13 hour day, get real, pussy, thought you were a man, as a younger man eight hours plus four   overtime Monday to Friday, four hours Sat and Sunday, son now works twelve on twelve off for a fortnight at a time then a week off in 30 to 40 degrees heat with all the creepy crawly things on this planet to fend off, do I feel sorry for you,,,,,,, let me think..................................

I'm still on my jollies, albeit at home. Mermaid is watching Macie at her own place. I'll go and get her later and we'll go out for a nice pub lunch somewhere.

When I used to do the Ideal Homes Exhibition with my Bro, we had to put a 4 bed house up in the NEC in 3 days. All of us had 2 hours refresher sleep and 10 min shower each day.
Still you ain't young anymore Dermo, I know how it is as if you remember my shifts in job last year were minimum 12 hour days, most days 14-15. then come home and do paperwork for social services.

I'm on a 36 hour week...hard it is.

More work for me today then, dog walk in a minute. Bank, bit of shopping, more work. Walk the dog, cook the dinner. Check the ebay, post drivel on forum........Its a life.

No mention of beer

Well about an hour ago fitted a final part to my mates TV and it sprung to life waheeeeeeeee , spayed the wifes plant pots and now having a cuppa while I wait for them to dry for a final coat, thens its back to work tonight to take all the nuggets home lol.

Went to a wee village called Auchtermuchty today. (Yes, it is a real place... ).

The burn goes under the street at this wee bridge. There is still no weight limit to vehicles on it which is a great tribute to the old builders...


You can see in this photo where they have blocked up the steps where people would have went down to the burn for water. The old bottom stone is still there...


Here's an old bonded warehouse, long abandoned, and you can see they barred up the windows to stop any thefts of whisky. The distillers would have to pay tax on any spirits they made straight away, but the barrels would be stored for years as they "matured"...

Look at this old window in the wall...now look again and see the even older archway which was blocked up to make the window. Must have been a stable entrance here at one point...

BS, I went on TA yesterday and said you were staying in Dalyan and it looked breathtaking. The community decided my post was 'inappropriate' I think it was probably my stalker and mates as I have never been on a Turkish forum before  

Gypsy the TA Dalyan forum is very clicky, say anything they don't agree with or line its taken down.

It is breathtaking couldn't recommend it highly enough
