The Brodies have just left. Had a lovely evening with them, as always. They are putting some mileage on their hire car!! They have been to places that I've not heard of. Cam gave me directions to a couple of spots. I'm definitely going to see that coral beach. Thanks Cam and Trish, see you either tomorrow night or Sunday night

Val treated me to a wee break at the Marine hotel and spa in North Berwick, she obviously told them when booking it was my birthday as we got the best suite in the hotel, we spent Thursday afternoon in the Ship Inn down town, it is a great old bar 14 beers on tap, terrific buzz and everyone was very friendly.
Hotel is lovely but getting near the time for a wee refurb, staff were all great Maitre de was fantastic ,Rumanian chap ex cruise ship industry ,he marked our card for future cruises, 21 days to go till we set of for Miami.

Sitting in departure lounge. Set off every feckin' alarm on the security thingy when I walked through. Money in pockets, glasses in shirt pocket, laptop in suitcase...€20 "Development fee" to leave the country as well, mind you Dermo had told us about it so it wasn't a shock!
