Just printed my Ryanair tickets for tomorrow morning. We got 12a and 10a. Result Mr O'Leary, I havent got to sit next to the bugger. 

It's to be 23°C in Norfolkshire tomorrow...

When Val went for her new hip I knew I'd be lumbered with all the house work so bought all the labour saving devices there was, Karcher window cleaner, steam generator iron system, Dyson animal, steam cleaner etc etc piece of piss 

I priced flooring in a stunning brand new apartment this evening. Electronic gates, cctv everywhere. Then I met the new owner and his sidekick. They got out of their fancy new van, chugging energy drinks, smoking with baseball caps on, gold chains, gold rings. couldn't make out wtf they were saying. So, I priced the job at 30 euro a sq yard. works out at @ 900 for 3 days work. Don't care if I get it or not tbh!

900 a day they will still say yeah and not pay, they think its a bigger saving.

Friend of a work colleague when I was working in Glasgow had his own painting and decorating bussines, he got this job to redecorate a big city centre pub/club, now the reason I know this story is I'd been for a night out in Glasgow and ended up in this place, had a good night and was telling my work colleague about it, he then told me this,,, his mate takes on the job, deal is bar is going to pay him for material up front and final payment on completion of job, job was to be done quick as bar wanted to reopen ASAP so he's taken on a few guys to get the job done quick, job done he goes for payment, there's no messing, he's told straight to fu#k off,,, so he's looking at getting the police involved, but friends etc he's relayed the story to advise him not to,,, turns out place is owned by one of Glasgow's biggest drugs dealers...

Hence in my earlier post I said get the money up front...

Business    Trouble is you think all people think the same as you, well the world is full of shits that will take advantage of the trusting soles they come across, you go off thinking what a nice guy to deal with, BAM !!!! thats when you get it, Sad but true, trust no fecker, especially family 
people will think the worse of you but tough, big jobs money up front, if they dont like it its cheaper not to do the job,

 

I'm watching Falkirk play Dundee United in the second leg of the playoffs...boredom's damn near killing me.

Went for a wee run in the car but rained most of the day so went to Muckhart Inn for lunch.
