Revisited some of my old haunts in Dublin. Its a cracking city to walk around. Very pedestrian friendly. First pub we went to was charging 6.20 a pint. FECK THAT! Soon found one of my old favourites at a much more pocket friendly 5.10. Re:Temple Bar, not if ya paid me, would I go near it. Went to Kilmainham Jail this morning. You have to get a guided tour around the old part and the execution yard. The tours go every 15 min. They were booked out until Tuesday afternoon. We went into the museum part. Lot of English accents in there. Was pleasantly surprised. Disappointed we didn't get into the old part though

Went out for a wee run in the car and got caught short, so headed for a nearby clothes outlet I knew had toilets. I got a crap and Mermaid got a new jacket...

Having a rest today, just got back from Devon & Cornwall been to Barnstable, Falmouth etc . Heck of a long drive but the weather was kind to us. Still as lovely as what I remember when I was a child x

When you say "new poles", are they existing poles which have been replaced with new ones or are they brand new poles that were not there before?

New where they wasnt before, I said that wont last long because it is an unmarked crossroad where everybody thinks they have right of way 
I have noticed there is alsorts attached to them in the top third ? they replaced an existing one over the road from mine, couldnt believe they used a grafter spade to dig the hole

When they finish putting them up they will put a "Notice of Right of Objection" on the pole. (Plasticised A4 size). You can object to the new ones but you will need a good reason why you've objected. Addreess etc. will be on the label. There is no right of objection to a pole that has simply been replaced though.
