Went shopping today solo and was standing in the veg section ,a young woman asked me to pass a bag of spuds to her which I did ,no she said " I like to buy the dear potatoes" oh said I "I didn't know deer ate potatoes" she walked away muttering and shaking her head

The security system at the rear of our house has a light with a motion sensor the bulb went yesterday after 28 years service , that's what I cal value for money

I had to pour hot water over the shed padlock this morning to get the key in so I could feed the birdies. I need more fat balls, mealy worms, suet pellets and peanuts. Plenty bird seed left.

You have to make sure you are in the right hand lane or you easy miss the TF5 exit. Same on the way back.

So I have become a fat auld git and have started back on to the 5:2 diet 2 weeks in and 5lb gone looking to lose a total of at least 21lbs if I can last it out

My summer weight is about 96kg and winter 100kg+. Currently I dont have scales to weigh myself but I suspect I am well over the 100. I am 6ft tall but that makes me border line obese. Dont know if its lockdown or old age or just shite weather but I seem to be doing less each day. Oh, and welcome to the pension club.
