Re: What are you doing today??
You clearly dont have too much grass so it must be too much money. Really hoping Jet2 dont cancel my flight on 23/8. They are running from 10/8 according to the website. I'll take the 14 days guv. Got a plan already....... Just look on the board to see what plane came in before mine. Where have you come from Sir? 'Dublin'.

Nothing?
3am its too hot to sleep so I will play on computer whilst getting pissed. Works every time lol. Fred is driving down to Tenerife through France and Spain and the ferry from Huelva in 8 days time with his dog so he can live in the sun. He is paying me rent but not much. He thought he could do the drive in one and a half days but he has taken advice from me and taken an extra day. He is taking my Spanish registered LHD Ford Focus diesel I bought on ebay last February so I dont want him killing it, or himself come to that racing to catch a ferry. I got the insurance for it when I was last out there from Liberty Seguros who have an office in Silencio. It was €236 which was surprisingly cheap for any driver. Only 3rd party though but I heard on full comp they dont pay out for dents on cars over 8 years old, thats why all Spanish cars have dents. As it happens mine only has a very small one on the back but I can tell it has been resprayed on one side in the past. Lucky for him the air-con works as well. Think he may need it if he hits traffic. Talking of air-con the car I got from Autoreisen last month was a nice quite new VW Polo but it was only 1.0cc. Put air-con on and it would stall ffs. Made a pleasant change from the usual crappy Citroens you normally get though. A nice diesel engine in it I would have given it 10/10.

They are all going to the Mosques for something called Eed. They are taking a big chance. I was going to go to the pub today but changed my mind, same reason. Would be too busy.

Re: What are you doing today??
Weather has cooled down so I can get on with jobs. Jacks bike is now ready for its MOT. No offside rear indicator at all and main beam only at the front if you smack it wont cut the mustard. Turns out the wires had melted the plastic inside the headlight connector. Two new matching indicators fitted at the back. Trailer still not fixed. Gonna have to weld a new axle on it.

Re: What are you doing today??
spent the day alternating between work and hospital. Darragh has been vomiting and fever for last 3 days Same old problem for years. This time, they did an ultrasound and took out his appendix this afternoon. I know its a common thing but you hate seeing yer kids on a hospital bed. They had to give him morphine after the op. Hopefully, he'll be a bit better tomorrow

Re: What are you doing today??
Peritonitis i ended up with due to them leaving me in agony for 24 hours before they took mine out
8 days i was in with a fan blowing on me trying to cool me down after getting a fever,
took them 2 days to take the plaster off my forehead with morphine wrote on it,
I remember my mother walking in with a birthday cake ablaze singing happy birthday to me, FMR
Hope Darragh feels better soon

Re: What are you doing today??
Just home from hospital and picking up Shona from her summer job. He had 3 different painkillers today. Poor wee lad described his pain at 10 outta 10 twice. Was very very pale this morning. White face and lips. However, his vitals are good so hopefully, its just a result of the inflammation. The main thing that is concerning the consultant is that he isn't eating or drinking at all. ( Hasn't eaten since Monday). He's on an IV for fluids etc. Not worried about him, but hate seeing him in pain.
