Re: What are you doing today??
Wearing pants for the 1st time......
In several months that's is, I have wore them before !.
Football tonight and I'll have to leave the shorts at home and wear jeans for first time in about 4 months as it was very 'fesh' last night so best play it safe tonight as there isn't a cloud in the sky so will be cold tonight.
Still wear shorts for work though, with 3 machines that generate heat is still melting him hear even with aircon blasting.

Quite surprised HSE allow shorts with hot machinery BS. Most places now the H and S officer stops that because of the company insurance, world gone mad.

No external heated panels all use heat to dry & cure printing plates it's just residual heat, your right H&S guy did an assessment on the room as we complained about heat but he reported air con just keeps room at acceptable level
In depths of winter it's lovely !.

Re: What are you doing today??
Finished work 20 minutes ago. Myself and another man have worked 11 hours straight with no break. We poured 27 cubic metres of concrete ( 3 full mixer loads ), levelled it and gave it a brush finish. I've never seen anyone like this guy for work. He did 3 times as much as me and he is 55

Re: What are you doing today??
...ahem! 57 and unders if you don't mind. Irishmen are reknowned for their work rate Dermo. We used to have a Donegal guy worked for us, dead now, used to lay duct after digging the trench out as if there was no tomorrow. Drank as hard as he worked, that's what killed him. He was only in his 60s.Topdog wrote:Fit us under 57's

Re: What are you doing today??
He came back today to cut out expansion joints with a con saw. The guy had to take TWO sleeping tablets last night cos he was worried about some of the levels on the concrete. TWO sleeping tablets!!! after 11 hours back breaking work!! He did 28 hours work for me and was looking for 400 euro. I gave him 450. I would have felt guilty had I paid him any less.
