good game to watch great football from both sides,
    but the scoreline flatters livi,
    We should have won 4.1!!
    Did'nt celebrate too much tonite!

Oh yeah, relaxed years - bet those who read this will be singing that bloody tune all day now weather

Botox and nose drops and needles for knitting,
Walkers and handrails and new dental fittings,
Bundles of magazines tied up in string,
These are a few of my favorite things.

Cadillacs and cataracts, hearing aids and glasses,
Polident and Fixodent and false teeth in glasses,
Pacemakers, golf carts and porches with swings,
These are a few of my favorite things.

When the pipes leak, When the bones creak,
    When the knees go bad,
I simply remember my favourite things,
And then I don't feel so bad.

Hot tea and crumpets and corn pads for bunions,
No spicy hot food or food cooked with onions,
Bathrobes and heating pads and hot meals they bring,
These are a few of my favorite things.

Back pain, confused brains and no need for sinnin',
Thin bones and fractures and hair that is thinnin',
And we won't mention our short shrunken frames,
When we remember our favourite things.

When the joints ache, When the hips break,
    When the eyes grow dim,
Then I remember the great life I've had,
And then I don't feel so bad.

Saw CHANGING of the Guards at Buck House. Went to Harrods. Took a River cruise up the Thames from Westminster to Tower Bridge. Walked over Tower Bridge, went in the Anchor and had dinner, then Got on the London Eye, apart from that and a lovely walk along the South Bank of the Thames, plus some beer, not much.

Sounds like you had a great day Kev! I'd love to do that but obviously from where we are we'd have to stay over and when you factor in the petrol, meals etc., it can be pretty expensive. Never mind, I'll do it someday. What are you doing today?? - Page 20 294053457

I did that London/Edinburgh train journey in 1988. Took a lot longer than 4 hours. Was ratfaced by the time we got into Waverley.
