My cousin 30 ish told just chest infection, carried on working, double pneumonia, 8 months off.

Just reading insurance companys wont insure you if you need it, But if you dont they will ,

Should be stopped trading, one bloke not claimed for over 20 years, then it was for 30 quid, been told if he claims his policy next year will be refused.

I'm convinced they run a cartel. My brother in law in the north (plumber) was telling me about all the houses he was called to with burst pipes, the winter before last. When people claimed, their insurance company double/tripled their premium for the following year. When they tried to get cover elsewhere, they were turned down and so were stuck with the original company who were now fleecing them.

I dont have insurance Reg. Burglary happens on average once in 50 years so I'm ok for the next 46. If it burns down it will come back as a row of 4 terraced houses, cheers.

Just got quotes for my traders insurance. I have to have a market traders liability insurance, they will only do a 1 year minimum policy. Well not quite true you can get a one off for a set amount of days but it is more expensive than most 1 year ones.
The quotes I had are for exactly the same conditions of policy and range from £78 to £1364. One company quoted me 385 and there sister company quoted 715.
