Yep get well Kev. I suggest you dont get on a plane if you have breathing problems, they always affect me but I keep it under my hat.

Hope you're feeling better mate. Was it the Hospital near the Grua or the clinic in the Valdez centre Kev?

Re: What are you doing today??
I assume that is the place near the Valdes Centre and opposite the bus station, never been in there but always lots of people around so assume it is quite good.
LR, what do you mean near the Grua, a grua is a truck, normally used for towing cars, collecting rubbish etc.

I meant the Grua compound, where they store the impounded cars, just behind the hospital.

Yep, that's where Trish went one time when her leg went all weird after an insect bite. They are good in there! Glad to hear you're out pal, take it easy and let the family look after you.

Re: What are you doing today??
Tidying the house, shopping, minding kids. Tomorrow have to go to my parents. Spent the night there before last. Dad very withdrawn. Mum doesn't want home help. Both of them accused us ( my brother and I ) of wanting to put them in a old folks home. Row taking place between 2 of my brothers, one accusing the other of only making a bad situation worse. Am feeling very stretched at the moment.

Going to my folks. Just preparing myself for the battle. My brother told my mum yesterday that they needed help because there is a missing period of 18 hours last Saturday that nobody knows what the feck happened. Her reply?? "So what if we die!"

Re: What are you doing today??
Well, we went to the Odeon to swap my free tickets for proper ones for "The Hobbit" which we will see at 4:30pm. After that we went for a meal, I had sirloin steak with fried onion rings and fried tomatoes, medium rare in a pepper sauce. Mermaid had Cajun chicken with a salsa sauce. Yummylicious!

Re: What are you doing today??
Well the house is like a Kinder garden, so i've been round the student house to measure up for a few mods while there away, dont worry i got permission before they left, These lot are the best tennants i have had, the place is clean and tidy, plus they left the heating on so we dont have floods again, 0ne of them was beefing about condensation so we are boarding her room out with insulated pvc cladding, that should shut the bitch up, , anything to escape our house, might polish my tools later

Re: What are you doing today??
We all walked up to the library, Lexie got logged on and Lilly was watching, Lexie likes word searches, just got settled in when all hell broke loose, a gang of Asian/Pakistani/Indian (children) came marching over to the computor desks for children, Lexie looked a bit intimidated and started to slope off her chair, Woh said i,dont let this shower take over, just then a member of staff came over to see what the racket was, also an import, well if she didnt start talking in jibberish, woh said i, dont you think it would be better to speak English in an English library, Sorry she says, good i said because if you dont sort this lot out i will be reporting you tomorro, its just not on, people come in library's for some quiet time, not to listen to this lot,
So much for a nice afternoon doing something English in England with English born grandchildren,
Some need educating in all things English even if born here, you would think some English ways would rub off on some of them, but no, no manners, no thought for others, no blady nothing,

I fear its too late, Jews, Chinese, Afro's, indians, been here years, never any bother, but the other lot are just taking the piss, People seem scared to say anything for fear of upseting them, even the M P's, anybody that doe's touch on the subject seem to vanish, well i sure aint sitting there while they force my grandaughter to get out of there way, if thats racist then i am, Yeh ukip, i'l give it a try,

Re: What are you doing today??
The NHS has been openly recruiting doctors and nurses from Romania and Bulgaria even though such people are not allowed to work in the UK unless they are students or self employed. Not hard to see how they get round that one then is it. Successive governments have stood by watching while this has been going on for far too long and now its time for a radical change before all our children end up unemployed or working for minimum wage as mine are no matter how well educated or how surprisingly pleasant they may be. I know that if I was an unemployed youth I would be out there fighting my corner but it seems our kids have been somehow brainwashed.

Re: What are you doing today??
We could rant on this forever, i usualy do, In Yorkshire we have a saying "The jobs fecked" Yes our kids get brainwashed at school, Welcome everyone, But when you realise there are no jobs or houses its too blady late,
Today i was reading about the transport minister, or whatever he is called, the man in charge of trains, and what good value they really are, well his car and driver has cost the tax payer £80k last year, Nice work if you can get it, Thats the trouble with the goverment, they arnt on street level, not a blady clue whats going on,
Oh and while i'm ranting, that young girl the taliban shot in the head, well she's better now and staying here, along with i dont know how many protection officers costing more millions to make sure they dont shoot her again, Which they have said they will, such nice people,
