Re: What are you doing today??
Going to Santa Cruz to see a concert tonight, but going early so we can find somewhere nice to eat. I like the sound of this one Tasca La Marea and it is only a couple of minutes away from where we are going. We will probably be too late for the 'Africa' Market but might give the TEA a whirl as it is opposite.

Today Matthew, I booked a cruise (day trip) to the Cliffs of Moher and then on to
Inis Oirr ( Inisheer) for 45 euro for the 5 of us. It can be used
anytime betwwen now and August 7th. Inis Oir is most famous for being the location of Craggy Island from the Father Ted series

Re: What are you doing today??
I actually bought a new car as well . well, when I say "new" its 5 years old. Because we got things arse about face in this country, the new car has the same engine and same CO2 emissions as Eileen's old one. The motor tax on the old one is 580 euro a year. The motor tax on the new one is 190 euro. All because they decided to change the basis upon which car tax is charge to CO2 emissions in 2008. Before that it was based on engine size. But the muppets here couldn't just have all motor tax based on CO2, cos they would lose a bit of money, we now have two criteria under which we pay motor tax. Confused?? I certainly am!
