Re: What are you doing today??
You can get ointment for that, makes you walk funny, and trashes your knickers, but clears it up,

...and if Mermaid says she's been hard at work all day, don't believe her...
...there is a wee bit washing on the line, I'll give her that...

I like the concrete block wall, reminds you of Tenerife does it? Mind you it looks a lot straighter than most I've seen out there. Blue and yellow along the bottom I think I would paint that. Make it look like sand and sea...........

There was lots of washing out and I had only been out there 30mins. He was wanting something to eat so removed my parasol to make me move.

Re: What are you doing today??
Brother made a good job of hanging on to life, No food or water since last wednesday, But he lost the battle this afternoon, I feel sad for him really, He never had much and was always angry with somebody, It was my turn lately but he never carried out his threats, I really dont know what was going on in his head, but he is at piece now, No he hasnt been transported anywhere like heaven or hell because thats all blox, And i will play hell with anybody in the family thats starts getting religious all of a sudden, I have been reading up on what funerals are all about, and as far as i can tell its about making the Co-op money, You dont have to have a hearse or cars to follow full of sad gits, you dont even have to use a coffin, a shroud will do, so you can book a fire at the grave yard, turn up and shove them in as long as you have a death certificate (For obvous reasons),
So i have looked up the bus times, and i will set about organising a budget funeral,
You think i'm a bit harsh ? or uncaring, Nah its my way of dealing with a shitty period in life, Laugh your way through it

Re: What are you doing today??
What a fab idea Reg, whenever your name is mentioned people will start talking about it, and then the conversation will move on to the things they remember about your brother. That is what counts, not going to heaven or hell but for people to remember.

Re: What are you doing today??
I booked flight today with Ryanair and I wanted a case to come back so its cheaper to pay in Euros for the return leg. So I did that first. €105.05 including case and card charge. Fine. Then I went to book the outward journey but it had suddenly gone up from £91 to £219. Jeez. So I checked other airports and they had all gone up. Think Birmingham was cheapest at £149. Now I'm thinking they have sussed me out, best use someone elses computer. But before doing that I checked out some other airlines and Thomson was quoting £86 from Norwich so I plumped for that. When I pressed the buy button I got a webfare discount too! Anyway this particular flight is operated by an airline called Orbest and in the end I got it for £73.94 including credit card. Then I noticed it included checked in luggage! So theres a turn up for the books. Ryanair...........
It will cost me £16 in rail fares with thetrainline.com but thats another story.
