I'm too busy to notice, our feckin' doorbell isn't working! Son in law left his phone round here and he came back for it, stood 5mins in the pissing rain 'cos we couldn't hear him! Mermaid has raided Macie's toys and found replacements...all working again!

Young Ross , my grandson is staying with us while his parents have a jolly in the U.S.A. tonight he has his A.T.C. meeting so before he went to school this morning I asked him which uniform he would be wearing tonight, he told me it was his dress uniform so when he was at school I got to work on his kit , trousers pressed so you could shave with the creases, shirt pressed and boxed , shoes bulled so that you could use them as a mirror, beret shaved and washed, well you should have seen him when he was dressed , he was as smart as a carrot, he could not believe it was his own kit , he looked terrific, can't wait till he comes home to hear the comments from his squadron mates , I was so proud to see how smart he was
