Re: What are you doing today??
Had the bereavement officer from the hospital on the phone asking me if we are anywhere near sorting out what is left of Mother, Funny you rang i have just sent the solicitor todays thoughts,
I cant make this much simpler i'll send you a copy, No No just read it to me please,
Crank says mother said i want burial, me and the eldest say she wanted cremation, which is why the eldest organised a cremation, Crank objected to a cremation, because thats what he doe's
Now i think crank did that without thinking what he was going to do next, So he's in a hole.
I have heard today that crank is serving some papers or something on mothers solicitor because she failed to put in mothers will what the feck she did want,
So no we are no further forward, I heard from the solicitor that crank rang you and said a funeral was organised for November the 5th, Mmm he did but i dont think thats go to happen,
Right i said, Word of deceased mouth is no good, nothing in her will about what she wanted,
So 3 sons left 2 for cremation and 1 for burial, how simple can it be ?, Ah it dont work like that,
Feck me stiff and call me starch, Is there anyway we can overturn the objection ? Er NO
Can we not have him sectioned as totaly insane, Hard to prove,
Right i said we shall wait untill the kent dies then,
She sounded such a sweet girl but never came across a set of loonies like my family
16 weeks and counting Cant wait to hear what crank says to solictor that has refused to have anything to do with him,

Re: What are you doing today??
As it was the last day of Summer I thought I would do some painting and even got up early to get some Zinnser primer from Screwfix. Its the dogs bollox apparently and needs to be at £16 a litre but I never found out as Fred wanted his bike finished for an MOT retest. It only failed on 10 items so took a few hours. He hasnt rung me so I guess its passed.

Re: What are you doing today??
Not today but yesterday so nearly on topic boss they were talking about halloween on the radio, some enterprising soul made chocolate covered garlic to give the kids.
The little cherubs dont bother knocking on my door after I was rather rude to some a few years back....... Not that I would answer the door anyway, it might be the TV license inspector.

Nobody had garlic in those days Reg, you had to catch BOAC bus to experience that. Think we had a door though, posh then. Patsy has just turned up and one of her work mates has given her a holloween make up box. Not for Patsy like but the Grandkids. Bit late but never mind, stick it in the cupboard for next year then.

Maybe not for me, but Emily and Brooke are still very young. The older boys are probably past it, one likes to play football and the other likes cannabis.....

Re: What are you doing today??
Anybody with a leaf blower should be burned, think there are places in America where it's illegal to use the noisy feckers...
Where I live every Thursday afternoon the bunch that keep the estate tidy arrive, at one time it was brush and shovel, the they progressed to leaf blowers, not only are the things noisy but the muppets operating them are a few smarties short of a full pack, they blow the leaves back and forward from one end of the estate to the other, then eventually work out they ain't gonna go away and shovel them up...
Then only last week they arrive with a new bit of kit, a big vacuum cleaner type thing, dose the job but still fecking noisy, can't wait until they reinvent the brush and shovel...

Re: What are you doing today??
I wouldnt say i'm getting worried BUT, Just lately i have been doing things out of the normal,
Fell off the shed roof
fell off the carport roof
fell up the stone steps outside the kings Arms in York
plus loads of other little things out of the normal,
like picking up the petrol can before putting the lid back on, WTF
Wanting to kill cyclists,
Even Lexie calls me Grumpy grandad
Is it an age thing ?
I think my minds elsewhere recently,

It is but i cant see how I mean its never been plain sailing with her, so
The loony brother is just the same as her, like making no sense, You just think WTF
I can hear my Father saying " Mary you are your own worst enemy"
I blame her anyway
