Re: What are you doing today??
Speaking of bathrooms i took it out because i didnt have room for it and a washing machine, bidet went too, wonder why they concrete the baths inPerfectspecimen wrote:Today I have been building a walk-in wardrobe. Its a bit bigger than my bathroom in Tenerife, and the balcony.
so now its a shower cubicle, carsie, sink and washing machine,, I left the period toilet roll holder in because it had a built in ash tray which i find doubles up as a cup holder,

Why didnt you put the washing machine where the bidet was? I keep bog rolls in my bidet, handy cos its next to the bog. Bog makes a handy ashtray. No fecking washing machine though. Wouldnt get one now unless it says Miele on it, would be about €1000. Nah, launderette just past the swimming pool.......

Re: What are you doing today??
Tomorrow (Sunday) its gonna be nice weather so I will try out a new tender (dinghy) I have acquired on the local river. If Patsy doesnt fall in its adequate. Its a dumpy little thing, double skinned with foam in between so at least it wont sink! Tried out my old Seagull 1hp outboard engine, not touched it in well over a year, started first pull. Magic little feckers, noisy, juicy, smelly and ugly it is, made in 1965. Beat up and rusty. Brit engineering at its best!

Washing machine would fit where bidet was, But you need to open the door to use it, the end of the bath got in the way,Perfectspecimen wrote:Why didnt you put the washing machine where the bidet was? Re: What are you doing today??
Wont last long anyway, then you can buy a top loader. A far superior washing machine. Its what the professionals use.
Tried dinghy out yesterday, feck its boring watching grass banks go by. Saw ducks, one swimming rat, and some anglers looking sad. Lithuanians have eaten all the fish. It was functional though, tried it with a couple of oars first, then the engine, gave up with the engine after a while, prop was collecting weeds, a lot of noise and going nowhere fast.

Re: What are you doing today??
So how big is a water vole? This was rat sized.
Thomson...... Since I booked my flight for tomorrow which I did at 10:20 this morning the buggers have knocked £30 off the price...... And the one from Gatwick as well.

Re: What are you doing today??
Water voles and rats are about the same size, the difference is in the noses. A rat has a long pointy nose whereas a vole has a short cute stubby one...

Re: What are you doing today??
Eoghan is after being accepted for a second week of work experience, this time, in the Ryan Institute in NUIG( National University of Ireland, Galway ), which was started by the philanthropy of Tony Ryan ( of Ryanair). He will be going to an open day seminar on marine and energy research next Friday. Think his actual work experience wont start until the second week of October. This is all a bit much. All of a sudden , he is doing "grown up" shit. Last year, he was still making a model railway as part of his technology class at school
