It's the interval. Now, its about talking movies and one of the leading lady is meant to talk into a microphone hidden in a shrub. So the director tells her " turn and talk to the bush" I nearly choked and the fart that I was holding for feckin ages decided to escape just as the orchestra stopped played. It was like a feckin fog horn  . Eileen won't even look at me.

I've got work on 1.5 miles away. Trouble is, its the other side of the bridge in the village, which is under 4 ft of water, (as are the 5 or 6 houses beside the bridge at the bottom of the hill). I'll have 30 mile detour via motorway. Could be worse, I could be one of those unlucky sods in those houses who don't have insurance

Watched the football in the local yesterday (don't ask, feckin muppets), plan was Annie was picking me up on her way back from seeing her dad in hospital but she texted to say she was running about an hour late (women innit), so I've got a hour to play with, so round the corner to the Angel (the one where the truck/crane tipped over) and a couple of pints with my non football loving mates, Annie texts to say she's at the traffic lights a couple of minutes away so I finish my pint and head outside, I'm standing exactly where the truck tipped over, it was wild, wind caught me, nearly took me off my feet, took me backwards about three/four steps untill I got my balance,,, the things we put ourselves through to keep them public houses in business...

£180+ in ASDA...WTF? ( I think it was all the choccy and fancy nuts and stuff for Christmas! )

Your lucky, did that yesterday and the same next week in Tenerife, WTF
