Re: What are you doing today??
In the hospital with Shona for her op on her toes. I went with her to theatre dressed in scrubs. A porter must have thought I was a doctor or nurse. He wanted to know where he should put a hand trolley loaded with boxes. Being a nose muppet I asked what was in the boxes. Sanitary towels he ssidy . I didn't know what to say so I told him to stick them by the vending machine! Ffs, what a question to ask a feckin civilian!! Teach me to fess up in the future

Well Freddie passed his driving test in the rain, couldnt see feck all out the back window so fecked up his reversing round the corner but didnt seem to matter. Everyone passes Christmas week. Will be looking for insurance quotes later........ Roy is still in Hospital at Norwich after his lung operation. It was cancer but hadnt spread to nodes or summat so he will be OK for a bit. Might go and see the old git later, talk boats.

Well done Freddie, Annie's daughters boyfriends test was cancelled a couple of weeks back due to strike action by the examiners, new test date sent to him the 31st December, he told them to stick it, he's still waiting on another date...

Re: What are you doing today??
Big mistake Minty, everyone is in a good mood new years eve. Also as it happens Patsy passed her test first time after it getting cancelled, they feel guilty! Trust me, she couldnt drive very well then and she cant drive any better now, and reversing? My drive is 20 foot wide and its a laugh watching her. Got some insurance to start tomorrow, via GoCompare, £1118 fully comp with £390 excess on his 2001 Skoda Fabia non turbo diesel. Value of car? About £390.
Nearly forgot, on his performance sheet or whatever its called the examiner has to write his name in the box........ Kev. No wonder he passed.

Got to say thought the same PS, but he knew he'd be out partying over the festive period and thought going for test was a bad idea...

Re: What are you doing today??
Ya, I mentioned it 6 or 7 weeks ago. She has been on 3 courses of antibiotics but infection in both big toes didn't clear. Today, she had both sides of both nails removed including nail bed. The dressings are well soaked with blood so the scab and all will come off with the bandage and its raw underneath. I had whole nail removed when I was Shona's age. I still remember the pain when the dressing was changed. I threw up. Hopefully Shona won't be as bad as the centre of the nail is still in place

Re: What are you doing today??
Well today Mathew we done the Christmas shop, Annie arranged her appointments to escape early from work, so there we are at Asda three o'clock, car parks hammered , obviously Asda thought the same as us cos only half tills were open,,, Arghhhhhhh...
Ain't gonna say what we spent but it was silly money, we are feeding 15, prawn starter, turkey, beef and gammon with all the trimmings for the main, and pudding which I refuse to have anything to do with...
So when we get home, we're in Christmas mode so start tucking in to it,,, well the wine anyway
Would seem I'm cook Christmas day, Annie's got a bit of a hard day, pick up her sister from the hospital she's in, up to her dads hospital, yip he's still there feck all wrong with him, then sister here for dinner, then take her back to hospital,,, three plus hours of driving...
So think we're having our party tonight...
Oh, Asda had run out of a few things we wanted plus when unloading the shop we realise we've forgot a few bit so so we make up a shopping list of what we need, she's gonna drop in early tomorrow to pick it up...
Oh, when she was round at her mates tonight I took the opertunity to add a few things to her shopping list, viagra, condoms and more wine, let's hope there's a Jesus...
Hallelujah...

She was at a youth club disco and had both feet jumpred on (her words). DJ must have been playing "Anarchy in the U.K." or something.

Off up to ferret shop, Going to convert my door handle to open outside, did the studio in August, been meaning to do mine since, poor bugger along the landing locked himself out last night, so i must do it before it happens to me, can be simple as the wind blowing the door shut, but if your keys in the other side your screwed, Might breeze along to La chafiras later, want to swop my sunbeds to fold up ones,

Going to see Star Wars later in 3D. Shona is meant to keep her feet elevated but she is determined to go. Don't know where she gets it from?
