Went to a Christmas Fair today and bought two clocks. One is a lovely bit of burr elm approx 1' wide, and the other is a nice bit of beech wood about same size. All polished and varnished with a beautiful grain on them. The 1' wide thing is an approximation as they are not square but a lovely natural shape. Keeping one and giving one for a Christmas pressie...

I'm just after hanging up the receiver on the house landline. Some lad today, around 12:30, rang to say he was from Microsoft and that there was something wrong with the Windows OS on our computer. I told him to hang on a second, that there was someone at the door. I wonder how long he stayed on the line?

Probably spending millions to save thousands on electric by using LED lamps 
Any way the one outside my place had loose plastic that just made a right racket in the wind. Blox i thought , no sleep tonight
Janet could read my mind that i intended to do something about it, first thought was to set fire to it, but on closer inspection it looked like it wouldnt burn, then i had the idea that if i twisted it round it would go tight then i could gaffer tape it,, so stanley knife and tape ready i was primed for a night time assault. then the wind dropped, fun on hold for now, do i sound bored already,
