Sometime ago I recieved an Aleksandr Meerkat toy from a well known website. He has been sitting in his box behind the glass in my wall cabinet watching me watch the tele ever since so I have given him a rare treat today. I have placed him on the dashboard of new campervan looking ahead. New mascot then, in the Meerkat Wagen.

Just booked flights for next year. 530 euro dearer I'm not going to go near the Ryanair site between now and then.

My eldest lad Eoghan got his Junior Cert results today ( equivalent to O-levels). He got 9 A's and a B out of ten subjects. We are delighted for him and he is justifiably very proud. The apple obviously doesn't fall far from the tree!!

I paid 1707 euro for flights at the end of June. That includes only one feckin bag and reserved seats. Would have been 1560 without. Thats nearly 500 euro more than July just gone.

That was Ryanair she said, I had a look but couldn't find them, had a search at all the others, eEasyjet going out on Wednesday and back on Thursday 15 days £52 out £99 back sO £302 for the both of us but that's flights only, dearest search I came up with was almost £900 for flights only, Annie's got 17 days holidays to use up pre April the fourth, so was looking back end of March...

Ain't booked anything yet so anybody come up with anything better, looking Manchester/Tenerife South, would do Liverpool if there was a big price difference...

Shame were gonna miss you Searcher...

Have you ever thought about going to  Barbados or Mexico , you will be surprised how little it can cost if you look around

Today at last I put the new cambelt on Campervan, thought it would be easy looking at it but oh no, the fan is a real ballache to get in and out. One of those nice Kenlowe electric fans would be great but instead they have elected to design a cowling system, metal, plastic and rubber. Jeez, upside down on top of the engine and scrabbling about underneath all day. Still not finished but the belt is on and it started so I havent completely fecked it then.   Tomorrow I shall fill it with coolant and change the oil and job done.
