Just booked our annual trip to Tenerife, getting very expensive now, so we cut our break to 18 days to compensate, if prices keep going up like this we could be heading state side the year after [2019]

Was told exactly that this year,"the hotel is overbooked we can charge what we wish" just waiting for the pound to take a jump and they will crap themselves when we all start going to the far east ,Caribbean etc

The other day I took cylinder head off VW expecting to find damaged valves. Nope, it fine. 
Grrr. So I have spent some time thinking about it. Was on tinternet trawling through all the forums last night seeing if someone else has had similar. Couldnt find anything. Think I told you it does start, straight away really but revs fast blowing out clouds of smoke and wont accelerate. Anyway I was in the bath last night, I think best in water, and it suddenly dawned on me. Its getting no fecking air! Now if only I had pulled the pipe off the turbo and tried it.......... So now its got to go back together again, with new gasket so I can try again. 
Went to a pub in deepest Norfolk tonight, Facebook Anglia MGF group meeting. Patsy refused to go, said it would be boring. Bunch of middle aged men talking about silly cars. Pub was nice though. I picked up a doner kebab on the way home in Downham Market. Very nice. They have invited me to do a charity ride round the M25 for Homes for Heros. Only trouble is its midnight and you have to have the hood down. More silliness. I will see what the weathers like and then make my mind up.
