Minty, I'm on to my 4th skip. It would take me years to do all that. Besides I don't know how ro lay patio slabs or lay turf and a digger gets tree trunks out a lot easier that I ever would...I could just about build the fence part of it.

Just finished watering all the new grass. I'll do it again after the workmen go home. Twice a day for a week, my fingers are goung all that wrinkled way when you've been in the bath too long. I'll have to buy a sprinkler...

Went to York today i said to Janet knock up a picnic because cafe's etc will be shut
Well talk about eerie with very few people about, Sun was out and normally the place is heaving
We sat opposite the rowing club near the star restaurant on our own 4 dibble on mountain bikes giving the down and outs some stick 
we parked at soldiers field with 3 other cars and walked up through town, nobody about etc a few road workers,
Friday afternoon with the sun out
best bit for me was a guy having his lunch on a bench and a bird shit allover him and his sarnie's 
He wernt happy
I said you want to get a loto ticket because that is lucky, 
miserable fecker

Today Matthew I climbed up my roof and got dive-bombed by seagulls as I took the single egg out their nest and binned it. Last year I got no mail for a month because the postie was getting dive-bombed by the protective parents and he refused to deliver it. Ain't happening this year. I will go up again in a few days to see if they have rebuilt...

Beatson's told me they'd pick them up on Thursday when they dropped the tiles off. Still haven't showed up...I ain't carrying them back into garden for the weekend to have to carry them all out again Monday. If they get nicked it's his problem now.
