Tried to unbolt clamps on handbrake cable under Freelander but they are seized. WD40 applied for an overnight soaking. So todays productivity...... Nil. Might as well sit in the sun.

Re: What are you doing today??
Put scanner on Audi today. No faults logged. Jeez. Tried to dismantle lower dashboard to check relays but my torx set is not man enough. Quality 3/8" socket set with bits required ordered off ebay, £38.95. 2 days pension. I already have two half inch sets, one for boat, and a quarter inch set so I will be fully equipped and when I die I hope the new owner appreciates it.

I repaired 36 photos today. A guy sent me 55 old ones from 1920s to 1950s. Love looking at that stuff!

Re: What are you doing today??
There was a dandelion behind that rock that I wanted to cut so I got the cherry picker out so I could go over the top of the rock and then lowered it down to reach the dandelion. Plan worked out perfectly

Used engine oil watered down with kerosene is great for treating fences. I have plenty of both. You are welcome to collect.

I refuse to get them as well Innit. Mines are the black bakelite fuses you have to wrap the fuse wire around. I haven't needed to touch them in about 40 years...
