I dont have any of those masks so just in case I need to go on a bus next week I thought I better think of something. A pair of Patsys knickers worked a treat. Looked OK in the mirror! 30 seconds later I'm beginning to get hot. Nah, feck that. I'll walk.

I just wasted £14 on a carpet protector. I thought it was that heavy duty see-through plastic stuff you can walk on without getting the new carpet dirty. Nah, it's an adhesive roll 25m x 600mm used to stick to the carpet for painters not to spill paint on. Dermo, do you want it?

Just had a Domino's pizza. Medium Chicken Feast with extra Large Dip. How the hell do people eat a whole pizza themselves? I even left a bit of my last slice and I only had half! Mermaid had the other half! Stuffed!

Yeah, it's "click and collect" I do, only 5 minutes down the road. Do you have "Toolstation"?

Re: What are you doing today??
No Toolstation. TBH, the quality of stuff in Screwfix isn't great generally. Its owned by B&Q. They also sell non standard size things like paint rollers that only fit their roller frames. Could you do me a favour Cam and see if they have these in your local Screwfix? Filters. You might have to start the search over again from the search box on the Screwfix homepage rather than just clicking on the above link. thanks a mil.

Re: What are you doing today??
A kitchen we did before the quarantine, the lady sent me photos today of tiny chips coming off the edges and around a couple of the handles. I checked my notes and turns out I assumed the kitchen had originally been varnished. It turns out, it was lacquered. The primer i used doesn't get on well with lacquer, it doesn't grip properly. I will now have to sand back the entire kitchen to bare wood and do a total respray. Feckin basic basic error

And I have just forked out 594 euros for a sander that will make my job of sanding back the kitchen a bit easier but FMR, disaster!
