what? I'm going to take a voucher ( if I can get it instead of a refund) and hopefully book for the same time next year. As it stood, up until today, I was going to lose 1300 euros as I couldn't change the dates to a time that suited.

Went local pub for a quiet drink tonight, it's not one where mates gather so just out for a couple for something to do,,, I was looking for a seat with a plug socket as phone was a bit low, I note this family sitting at a table, looked like father, mother, son and girlfriend, well presented looking family, recon parents were mid 50 ish,,, next thing there's a bit comossion, the father's out on the floor, wife and son are down on floor trying to get him up,,, I think he's pissed, it's a town center pub so police are there quickly, I again think pissed,,, next thing two paramedics turn up,,,,, like all bars it's table service only at the moment, so barmaid comes to serve me, I ask what's going on is guy pissed, she says they think he's had a stroke, they are waiting on an ambulance,,, I have to leave pub 10 o'clock, guys still on deck with police and paramedics around him,,, this is almost 2 hours after incident started,,, NHS Hero's !!! not last night,,, I then go shop across road from pub to get some shopping, so didn't leave area till about 10:15, still no ambulance...

Then I get home, put alarm code in, it don't beep as normal, next thing alarm siren is going mental, I switch off house power, no difference, I knock my neighbours doors explain I ain't being broken in to, now my house being an apartment alarm is inside, noise is horrendous, so screwdrivers and ladders found I disconnect siren, but downstairs in electrical cupboard where alarm brain is there is still an alarm going off, so alarm brain opened up I disconnect back up battery,,,,, so much for a quiet drink !!!

Off to Whitby in Camper van, will sit on the top with the kettle on watching the world go buy

Sunny dry and windy, perfect grass cutting time. So I did. 

Well, before Nicola's new restrictions today, I didn't know if the wee holiday I booked for Macie and Trish and me which had been cancelled last April for my birthday and rescheduled to Monday coming would be going ahead. But thankfully, nothing is stopping us from going to Aviemore on Monday. We won't be able to get an alcoholic drink with our dinner but I can live with that. Swimming pool is still open as is the restaurant for residents. I picked Macie up from school at 3pm today just as Nicola was speaking so I didn't know until we got home that it was still on. Her wee face was a joy to see.

So Cam in Covid terms what's the difference if you have a drink with your meal or not, your still there,,, all getting to be a load of political bollocks,,, you encourage people to go out (Boris meal deal) you test more and you discover more people have got it,,,,, feckin suprise !!!!

Bought tickets online for the Highland Wildlife Park for Macie me and Trish for next Wednesday. Checked weather app for dry day. Also booked a time slot for arrival at Newtonmore Highland Folk Museum on the Thursday. You have to book in advance for everything now and I don't like it, I like to just roll up and decide on the day if I want to go in somewhere. Sign of the times innit... Anyway, at least the swimming pool in the hotel hasn't closed, she's been looking forward to that!

Went to Lidl to do some illegal shopping. No fecking fresh veg except carrots swede and cabbage.   Ended up with frozen broccoli to go with the expensive aged beef. On the plus side the sherry is back in stock. 
Reading the news I tells Patsy Megan Markle is coming to UK for new year. Straight away she quips 'should come for halloween'........ 

Been under the camper van all day fitting the new Eberspacher heater, It had one but i went digital so it will be more efficient and quieter hopefully, I was hoping for a straight plug and play,  
 nah complete rewire and plumbing, fit the solar panel the other day and that has been busy charging the leisure battery, tomorrow the world

My cuz has got the all clear re breast cancer. She had surgery last week and got the news today. I'm trying to figure out what the surgery was for, i.e. exploratory or invasive,  and how the results giving her the all clear could be so fast??? She has got 8 months of radium treatment ahead of her as a precaution??

In Aviemore now. All time slots for the swimming pool are booked for today so going tomorrow. They open for an hour then clean, then re-open again. Dinners at half eight tonight, earliest we could get. Had a soft drink in the bar 'cos it was raining outside where they can serve booze. The jaikies were all sitting under an open gazebo with their pints! Going for a wee run in a bit up to Carrbridge. Oh, Cinema in the resort is open so going to watch Cats and Dogs!

Renault Master 85000 miles. BUT, I know the company that had it originally. They delivered bathroom suite and showers in the city. And i know the guy who bought it from them. He runs a prop hire company for theatres and drama societies and the like. feck all heavy was ever in it, full service history and it passed its MOT the day I bought it.

Good useful van low at the back for getting things in and out of, antique dealers love them
