Nuffink. Lost the will to live. Trackday cancelled on 1/12. May as well wave goodbye to flights on 6/12 as well. Booked with Jet2, big mistake. Only thing that can save the day now is Trump winning. Jeez.

Re: What are you doing today??
Having put new starter motor on Freelander bugger still wouldnt start. Went through everything, ignition switch, fuses, relays. In the end jumped from battery to solenoid terminal and it started but stopped immediately. Aha, immobilised then ffs. Probably cos I undid battery terminal. Spent some time on tinternet looking for fixes, numerous options suggested. This morning tried pressing button 5 times on remote and hey presto it worked! Bloody thing was about 24 hours from the junk yard! It is running now but engine hunting and rev counter not working so back on tinternet. Crankshaft sensor. Probably pulled the wire off then. Will have a look tomorrow.

Re: What are you doing today??
I am on Octopus Energy and every month I send the figures on meter and I get to spin the wheel of fortune. Last night I won £1. Then this morning I get a letter telling me I have £200 winter fuel payment coming on 23rd December. This is on top of the £140 off my electric bill because I'm on pension credit. Marvellous. Furlough for old gits innit? Madness. Pity I dont live near Wales, I could spend it in a pub!

Went shopping this morning. No obvious shortages. Spun Patsys Fiat 500 on a sharp bend, ended up facing wrong way on other side of the road. Jeez. Mud from tractors innit. Hope Jack takes more care than me on same corner when he comes home from work on his scooter.

Fife, my county has just been booted up 1 level to Tier 3. No non-essential travel out of the county. Just as well I did some xmas shopping yesterday.

Re: What are you doing today??
For the first time in many years our annual re_union with our Bitacora buddies will not take place in January next year, instead it has been delayed until April, we thought it would be safer then as the oldest is 94 years old, but he says "as soon as we get home they will book for 2002"
P,S, he just stopped curling on ice this year

Re: What are you doing today??
Vodka on ice I do. Today I have been doing a bit to my new trailer. Started of life as a Conway trailer tent which I got for £100. Ripped the top off leaving just the base and mudguards on the galvanised, braked chassis. Base now covered in aluminium sheet to waterproof it and just started on the timber and steel sides. Load space of 2.4 X 2 metres. May well get utilised next year to cart stuff down to Tenerife if I can find a house out there within budget.

Re: What are you doing today??
We've got 4 cats around us, Roxy a kitten-ish, Angus, Jasper and Scabby cat (He's got matted fur). I buy them those "Dreamie" treats and give them to them when I see them which is never all at once because they don't like each other. Roxy never comes near as she's scared of everyone. Angus is a light ginger cat and he purrs when I feed him, Scabby cat, don't know his real name,is glad to get any food at all and he comes to me, he's grey with white socks. Jasper is more wary, he comes when I shake the packet and I put the treats on top of the fence but he isn't keen on me petting his head. His colouring is more your tabby cat style. If I don't have any treats they just look down their noses at me. Feckers...

Re: What are you doing today??
Juno the ginger cat has turned up at a vets 7 miles away, he had a cut on his leg which they have treated bed and breakfast for 2 days so they want £400 to hand him over, If they do bail him out he will take off again so i would think Juno will be getting a new home, Luke's partner has taken to the sofa looking glum and doing a number on Luke to give over the £400, she obviously has a lot to learn about her partner, Fat chance
