Budget meal in M&S £17 including cake, walk round town then a mooch in Fat Face then drinks outside the Kings arms while the water was down, return to base , splendid break

Just had a phone call to say new shed may be coming today. Now I'll be able to put my patio furniture inside for the winter!

Not sure if you get garden hoppers like burglars robbing sheds but you can have the best padlock in the world and they just unscrew your hinges, so take a screw out and drill a hole right through and fit dome headed bolts in each one, stops the little feckers, top tip folks

Really strong winds last night. All the wheelie bins were upended this morning and a few of my plant pots were blown over. Good news is new shed is still standing!

Another top shed tip is get some brackets or metal roofing strips with holes and and screw the roof inside to the walls to save it blowing off and the burglars from gaining entry by lifting the roof off, drastic yes but seen it done, £20 for your mower for their next fixCampbell Brodie wrote:Really strong winds last night. My laptop gave up the ghost today, had to go to Currys/PC world to get a new one. I wanted a touch screen one to be all up-to-date like but every one I asked about they had none in stock! Settled for a cheap Dell at £379 instead, feck 'em!
