Had to polyfilla over a few holes where the screws had been for the curtain rails for the old windows in the kitchen, so I've been up the ladder painting over them this morning. Grass has to be cut but that will be later when all the dew has disappeared and carpet in main bedroom has to be lifted. I'm off to make a start on that now.

Decorators should do that Cam, its called preperation, if they dont boot them down the stairs, Pat Kelly spends days before he gets a brush out, Remember the young kid that was painting the outside of the student house he thought he could start glossing as soon as i went out, he got booted off the job pronto,
Preperation is the most important part of the job,
Tell them you know me and i will be inspecting the job, ,

Haha! The kitchen isn't getting redecorated Reg, just the living room and 2 bedrooms, so I had to do it missen. (Yorkshire accent there innit)

Grass is all cut, edges trimmed, hole plugged with sealant where I re-routed the telephone line and gates have been given a wee splash of WD40. Also put some new bath sealant round the edges as it was starting to show them mouldy spots. We're going out now for a wee run and something to eat.

Spreading the last of the chippings on the drive. ( Moved 20 tons of the stuff by hand, only took me 8 months!) Power washing the lower walls and window sills of the house in preparation for painting. Getting kids and bags ready for trip to Helsby tomorrow to pick up new car. Meant to be feckin gales tomorrow evening so i don't know what the ferry crossing will be like

Ah thank you young man, you are always the gent. His aches turned into a migraine but we are going up on Thursday now. Not for anything in particular just a moochie around.

We must get together before I go away next week. I am out Wednesday with Linda and Carol but any other time. Monday night would be quite good for me as I will have had my hair done and looking halfway respectable or anytime over the weekend. Send Jim a text as to what you want to do and when.

LR and me went and took Macie out for the day. We had Lunch in Pizza Hut We took her to see the ducks and she walked around a furniture shop. We then went to show her some boats and she found a stick which she walked around with and she then started picking the daises.I will post some photo's later

Yes dear, no worries not Thursday this week but the rest us good, think Ben and Carol want a meet too.
So today is moving in day. Cheeky bases banks Lloyds and Santander want huge money to do bankers drafts, yeah no worries give me it all in cash then close my account, oh we can waive the charge. 780 euro, thieves. Said you need x amount of k's in account, we have, yeah but one month before, oh would you like any insurance, nah I will ask lookie man, less chance of being robbed.

decorators are here and some work they are having in one of the bedrooms. They are hoping the other bedroom is not so troublesome. Then they have the living room lol. Thats what they are getting paid for. Think I will do a bit of sorting in the garden
