We're starting Christmas shopping today. First on the list is a panini maker for our daughter. Aldi have them in at £19.99.  

Grand clear up for me and get ready for Gaz to arrive.

We have problems, had them since Friday and hopefully today will get it sorted.  Had to abandon the car in Las Americas, now waiting for insurance to collect on grua and take to garage hopefully it will be fixable just hope it isn´t another bloody holiday pushing things further back.  You feel really stuck without wheels.

Reg will know what's wrong with it Gypsy! Pity he's not over...hope you get it fixed soon.

We know what is wrong with it LR, a bloody big lump of tubing is missing from the engine.  It made a horrible noise as we were coming down the main street in Adeje then on the motorway the red light came on, then went off and then came on again by which time we were in San Telmo fortunately we stopped almost as soon as the red light came on so fingers crossed we haven't damaged the engine.  And as luck would have it there was a legal car parking space just round the corner from where we were.

Thanks TD, Just heard from Jim who is with the car, (Adam took him down on his way to work) the insurance say the grua will be with him within the hour so sounding good.  Then off to Las Chafiras it was booked in for its service and ITV on Thursday so even if we have to wait that long it shouldn´t be too bad, our store cupboards mean we can survive at least until the weekend LOL.

No this lump of tubing near the red wires with the concertina bit in the middle and bending each way.

The photos not coming up M. Anyway sure the garage will know what it is. Most likely part of the air management system and then computer says NO!

She just got the news, funerals Friday, not this one, the next one, first date they were given was Monday, but that clashed with his grandsons birthday and family did not want that, next available date was the Friday, drags it all out a bit...

Apparently nothing to do with that missing pipe it was another small pipe that burst, they will have it fixed tomorrow and ITVd then call us to collect.  So not as many zeros as anticipated.
