Re: What are you doing today??
Some photos of Edinburgh in between when it wasn't pissing down!
First one is our digs...
This is the wee Skye terrier whose nose is getting shiny 'cos people rub it for luck...
Here's the poor wee dug's grave...
Some of the kids who visit have left him apples to eat and sticks for him to fetch...
These next two will mean feck-all to an Englishman but everything to a Scotsman...
We're in the National Museum of Scotland now 'cos it's pissing down outside...
Jackie Stewart's Formula1 car...
This is the complicated locking mechanism on a chest that was used to carry the money for the ill-fated Darien Scheme...(goggle it...)
This is my namesake Deacon Brodie, who has had a pub named after him. Respectable businessman by day, burglar by night. Robert Louis Stevenson wrote a book based on him..."The Strange Case Of Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde". [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
This is where the old Tollbooth and prison used to stand, the famous "Heart of Midlothian", nowadays used as the crest for Heart of Midlothian FC more commonly known as "Jam Tarts" or "Jambo's".
Finally, I found out where 3rd Forum gets his income from...

Wow, I'm impressed with your digs Cam. Not only a window low enough for you to see out of but chairs low enough so your legs dont dangle in mid air! Cant see the skirting boards, big?

Pet dwarfs you lot. Which reminds me.......As I was approaching the escalator at TFS on the way to security I just happened to be following a couple the young girl of which had a very short minidress on that sort of flared out. Well, I couldnt help but look up as I was going up the escalator could I? Jeez, 80% of her butt was on view 3 foot from my nose. Wish I had had a camera handy, would have made picture of the year on here I can tell you.
